A New company name, a new office

On September 10th, 2009 the Commercial Court approved our new company name “netmail s.r.o.”.

We found that the old one (CZ.BAT) was hard to customers to remember and to understand our services related to that name.

Out new name actually has a long history. We have had the domain name netmail.cz since 1998 but had not officialy used it for our services, except for a small implementation of the Merak IceWarp mail server, which we were running for some of our customers as a hosted service.

Recently we noticed, that the name “netmail” was quite catchy for our users and is easy for them to relate the kinds of services that they can expect from us with this new name.

Part of our company “reload” (if I may call the renaming process this way) was a reconstruction of our office. A new company direction deserves a new office layout and we all are very happy with it.
